Visiting Driggers Elementary was by far one of my favorite events as Miss Latina World. I went during FIESTA and was able to see the students shoe box floats. Then I literally walked in every classroom from Kindergarden to 5th grade and did a small speech. My main points were the importance of staying in school, being good role models and of course saying “Happy Fiesta”! The students were an absolute pleasure to meet and I enjoyed every minute. At the end of the day, the Student Council President gave me a little present and I’ll never forget my time with them.
