Last month I attended a fundraiser for Nico LaHood who is running for Bexar County District Attorney. As a child, my Father ran for the same position in the 90′s and I have a personal interest in this elected official position for many reasons. The evening was amazing, his speech literally brought tears to my eyes and no one in the room left without a sense of community and a better understanding of who Nico is and what he stands for.
Over the past few months, I’ve learned a lot about Nico. He is a man who has seen the judicial system from every point of view, as a Prosecutor, a Defense attorney, a Magistrate Judge and more. His story is one that a simple blog on my website can not convey without leaving out an important part of the story.
