Today I created my online profile for the Red Kettle Campaign with the Salvation Army. The actual campaign of kettles will begin on December 12th.
For the first time in San Antonio the Salvation Army has chosen 9 individuals to compete in a competitive Red Kettle Campaign. Myself, along with Mayor Julian Castro, Patsy Torres, Cleto Rodriguez and many others are competing to see which of us can raise the most funds for the Salvation Army. Each of us have decorated our own personal kettle (thank you Tia Mari!) and they will appear at different locations throughout the city.
Since the goal is to raise the most funds, we’re also competing online as well. Please take a moment to view my online profile and share the link with others, so I can raise the most funds for charity!
