This semester I finally decided it was in my best interest to change from a part time student to a full time student. Taking 15 hours (5 classes) and still working part time isn’t a piece of cake. Now that I’m a senior, most of my classes are all upper division and that much more difficult. I can honestly say I’ve never been to the library this much in my entire life, until this semester. On top of that, having to go straight to work after school and then make time to study is rough. My work outs are few and far between now and I rarely see my own boyfriend.

On a positive note, I now  see the positives of college life. I’ve made more friends this semester than any other. Yep, I actually have a study group once a week that I feel is like family now. And I’ve been to every single one of my professors’ office hour to talk about my grade. These two things alone have changed my college experience and improved my grades so much I wish I had done these things earlier! Once I realized that my professors are human just like me, if I ever had too much going on (ex. my sisters wedding) and couldn’t finish a paper or book report, all I have to do is talk to them and they would help me. Granted, I never skip class, always participate and make good grades, so this may not be the case with everyone.

Finals however … now that’s a killer. You don’t even want me to get started on that. The new pink Rockstar with no carbs or calories is my BFF. Haha. And thankfully my boyfriend is going out of town this weekend, so I won’t feel so awful for locking myself in my room for the next week studying like a crazy person.
