Over the weekend, I decided to delete my Facebook account to try and detox my body of additional stress. At first it was difficult, especially when people started to notice and I actually had to tell people I deleted my Facebook for a reason. I even deleted the app off my iPhone, because just seeing the app I felt like I was missing out on something.

I can honestly say it’s been so refreshing and I rather enjoy not having it anymore. People who I really care about I make sure to e-mail, text, or call them so I don’t feel out of touch. It’s also helped me to think about who I even feel is important enough to make an effort to keep in touch with.

And it’s also reminded me that I love Twitter. Twitter is so much more simpler, drama free and less annoying. I get my news, updates on my friends, I don’t get overwhelmed with photos, tags, comments, likes, etc.
