This past Saturday was our 10th Annual Fandango Under The Stars fundraiser at Pedrotti’s North Wind Ranch. I am pleased to announce that we had an additional 125 in attendance, making our attendance for the evening at approximately 625!

Both the silent and live auctions were a complete success, the Miss Helotes court graced us with their beautiful faces and assistance yet again, and for the first time in the history of Guadalupe Home we had a video (thanks entirely to the Jim Adler Law Firm) of our new location and mission to share with the entire crowd.

This Friday morning (November 11th) at 7:40 am, Suzanne De Leon our director of Guadalupe Home, as well as myself will be on Fox 29. We are happy to be on the morning show discussing our 10th Annual Fandango Under The Stars this Saturday, as well our new Guadalupe Home location opening next month. As of yesterday we have 125 items for our silent auction. We normally have 250 items every year, so we are in need of more items for our fundraiser next month. Gift certificates are always good, as well as religious items and anything that can be used as a Christmas gift. If you or someone you know would be able to help donate a silent auction item please let me know. As always your donation to the silent auction can be used as a tax deduction, so if you need a tax identification number I can provide that if necessary. It’s that time of year again! This year will be our 10th Annual Fandango Under The Stars fundraiser at Pedrotti’s North Wind Ranch. For those of you who have been in the past you know we always have a crowd of 400-600 in attendance, so please order your tickets now and/or put your name on our list to reserve a seat! Individual tickets are $45 and couples are $80. Corporate tables are also available.

Fandango is a fundraiser for Guadalupe Home, a non-profit program of Catholic Charities, and I am pleased to announce this Fall we will be moving in to our new location and almost doubling in size! With that comes a need for more donations, so please join us for a great time for a wonderful cause!

We are also happy to have volunteers as well. Setting up in the morning always takes us a lot of time, so if you would like to help out, please let me know as well.

GH Auction Items Request 2011

This year Fandango went smoothly and was another year reminding me of how important Guadalupe Home is. We’re blessed to have another home donated to us, so we can help double the mothers and babies that we have now. Of course with such an amazing  donation comes the necessity to raise even more money to keep our doors open. Thank you again to everyone who helped make the event a success and I can’t wait for next board meeting when I get to find out how much money we raised!

It is with great pleasure that I can announce the Guadalupe Home received a donation of $15,000.00! On Friday we were able to pick up the check and could not be more thankful! The Mapco Golf Tournament was generous enough to donate the funds to us and it will most certainly help us open the new home. Enlight of this donation we have 3 tables reserved for the organization at our Fandango event, so our board members and attendees can personally thank these wonderful people!

It’s that time of year again! Fandango Under The Stars is right around the corner and tickets are now on sale.

We’ll be having our event at Pedrotti’s North Wind Ranch on November 13th from 6:00 to 11:00 pm. Tickets are $45 for an individual and $80 per couple. If you’d like to purchase tickets, please feel free to e-mail me or call the number above.

This year we have a new million dollar home that was donated to us  to help even MORE mothers and babies. With that comes the task of finding extra donations to continue to fucntion in our bigger home. Your help is extra important to us, so we can keep up the wonderful work we’ve been doing at Guadalupe Home.
